A very real joy killer is living a life of comparison to other people’s paths. You can just ride your own lane and do the hard work of loving yourself and doing your personal best everyday. Whatever your best looks like that day is absolutely just right already, because it was your best.
Pepper in a little kindness to others and some reminders of love to your close ones. Then, keep it moving…staying in tune with your breathing.
On an occasion, you’ll have an opportunity to do something sensational. Try not to miss it, but don’t harp on it if you do miss it. Listen to your body. Rest it. Move it, and continue dream. This is just my humble observation at 56.
This is how I have survived decades of extreme high and lows. Yet, still manage to know real joy.
